One of your commenters asked about readership via time. This is something we track very closely at HubSpot. We also track inbound links over time. We're happy to share the graphs if you think people would be interested in it. There's a really interesting inflection point where the pace of new inbound links really takes off at a much higher rate.

Dave, I only just saw this. I think you meant that I'm no longer at Search Engine Watch -- Search Engine Land is where I went when I left there. And thanks for your kind words. I do occasionally get people who still think I'm at the old place. I guess it's kind of hard when I was there for so long and still have so many articles there.

I wonder how many people realize that you no longer work at search engine land? The only reason I read at that web site, was because of you and your excellent knowledge. I was more than happy to switch and follow you here. You are doing excellent here already in this short amount of time. You also have a great kick butt staff that I enjoy. The numbers change but placement is not dynamic. Not yet at least. If someone has written up some code to do that, I'd be happy to incorporate it.
