    This is an interesting topic, its one you always worry about, especially if your site is in the top spot, but if the changes improve the site, and you got to number one in the first place, then you will probably know what it takes to do it over again, plus with a better site it will probably be even harder to knock you off that top spot!.

    Thanks for the great post. I just went through this with my own blogs, when I moved my hosting and added a few new domain names. I was able to keep everything working and not damage my Google rank, but I did run into a problem when I shut down a free Wordpress.com site. Wordpress.com has such a great Google ranking, and Google leaves up links to old Wordpress pages, so my no-longer-existent Wordpress.com pages are still showing up. Keep up the good work.

    Excellent post, thanks for sharing.Interesting topic, but I think those who are having blogs (Wordpress) are always on the top with SEO, because blogs seem to rank very well and fast.
