I just went through this with my own blogs, when I moved my hosting and added a few new domain names. I was able to keep everything working and not damage my Google rank, but I did run into a problem when I shut down a free Wordpress.com site. Wordpress.com has such a great Google ranking, and Google leaves up links to old Wordpress pages, so my no-longer-existent Wordpress.com pages are still showing up. Keep up the good work.

Re: SEO Basics: Will Moving or Changing My Site Hurt Rankings?

This is an interesting topic, its one you always worry about, especially if your site is in the top spot, but if the changes improve the site, and you got to number one in the first place, then you will probably know what it takes to do it over again, plus with a better site it will probably be even harder to knock you off that top spot!.

Re: SEO Basics: Will Moving or Changing My Site Hurt Rankings?

Excellent & Excellent - Both the Picture and the Content.

How did you get the bear to stay so still!

:)

Re: SEO Basics: Will Moving or Changing My Site Hurt Rankings?

ok, that's gross Lee.
