Go here to start: http://creativecommons.org/...

Re: Use A Creative Commons License As An Online Marketing Tool

I second custodio's question, how can we edit the attribution license on flickr? Doesn't seem like there's an option to upload our own CC license. Are we missing something?

Re: Use A Creative Commons License As An Online Marketing Tool

This is a very nice post. I especially enjoyed your use of the phrase whack-a-mole as it is usually relegating to use of defining carnivals.

There is one big factor you referenced in the post I think needs more attention. As Mike Seyfang wrote "What I do crave is recognition (not fame)."

For the concept of CC and free to be successful, the producer of work must recognize the value of building recognition and (ultimately) gaining respect over fame and fortune.

Thoughts?

Re: Use A Creative Commons License As An Online Marketing Tool

Thank you for sharing this important information with us. I for one will look into this. It is important to give credit where credit is due. I totally agree with you that professionals and those who’ve worked hard to build their reputation online will agree to the terms and this is what we want to encourage in this kind of platform – professionalism.

Re: Use A Creative Commons License As An Online Marketing Tool

Good post. I just have one question, where exactly do you edit the attribution requirements on Flickr?
